I know for some of my fashionistas, this dress might be too short for a day look. But for my shorter ladies, this dress would be a fabulous day-to-night option! Pair it with a tailored blazer and opaque tights for your workday meetings, and switch to a killer pair of cage heels and lose the tights and the blazer for after-work martinis.
Also, for my high school fans, this dress is also perfect for a school dance or concert, or even a sweet sixteen on the more casual side.

Cute, but one more exception to those who'd be able to wear this: I don't think that cinched waist (is it elastic?) will work for women who are busty and/or a little heavy. Even on the model, the top part looks a little odd.
ReplyDeleteIf you're worried about the cinched waist, pair this with a chunky belt. I have a lot of forever 21 stuff with this kind of waist, and it you use a belt to cover the cinching, you a)add a great accessory, b) solve the problem of how the cinched elastic waist may look on you, and c) create fabulous waist definition. :)
