FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Sashy.

I'm not a big fan of accessories for accessory's sake, I think everything should add to an outfit and if it doesn't add something that was missing, remove it! So, I'm not big on throwing a sash on just any old bridesmaid's dress, but if you are looking for one to oomph your look, this one is super cute. The grossgrain is a great texture and the double-bow is unique, not tired.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Butter.

This bridesmaids dress reminds me of soft, whipped butter. It is on sale right now and I don't know how I missed it before (and i'm on jcrew.com all the time). I really like the "belted" waist along with the neckline. Cute and perfect for a spring wedding which has "finally" sprung in New York!

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Lavender Label.

By Lyndsey
This Vera Wang bridesmaid's dress is more than half-off. Need I say more? Okay, fine. It's super-cute, stylish, and I love the pleated bust. This color is a little washed out on our pale model above so keep that in mind and note that this dress isn't for the alabaster-skinned.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Un-Sung Hero.

Alfred Sung of the Dessy group has some very cute and stylish bridesmaid dresses and the Pantone colors they use give you many options for what hue you want your leading ladies to wear.

I love the retro-inspired halter dress above, I wouldn't go all the way with retro-style hair like the model but I think this dress would be perfect for a spring/summer wedding and it won't make your bridesmaids feel like their dress is a punishment.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Textured Trend.

Bridesmaids don't have to wear plain, boring dresses and this monochromatic dress with textures to add dimension is a great example of that. The stripes and alternating fabrics add style to this otherwise-plain halter dress and can be a perfect choice for an evening summer wedding. Comes in four colors.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Pretty In Prints.

Who said bridesmaids can't wear fashionable prints? I know it can be intimidating to choose prints for your bridesmaid dresses but if you alternate between printed and solid dresses (this dress next to an all black dress) you can really add dimension to the bridal party look while keeping it coordinated.

The dress above is cute and, best of all, can ACTUALLLY be worn again, unlike most printed bridesmaid dress nightmares.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Quail Sale.

One of my favorite internet finds is Quail shop and they have a lot of great dresses for all your dress requirements but they also have a great bridal and bridesmaid collection, albeit small. They are currently having a sale and this dress is 80% off! If blue is your color, this a great bridesmaid dress option.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: 42 Flavors.

Spring means new bridesmaid's dress style are out and I really like the one above from David's Bridal. The satin is folded over to create an interesting structure, but the cut is still simple and flattering. This one comes in 42 colors so there is no way you can claim it won't fit into your wedding theme!

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Pretty Pewter.

Pewter is a great color that transcends seasons so can be part of a bridal party any time of year. Grays (like black) are a great backdrop for bouquets as well because the colors will really pop against a neutral background.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Sparkly Tank.

Is a tanktop bedazzled with crystals that say "Bridesmaid" for everyone? No. But a little fun on your bachelorette party or while getting ready for the wedding never hurt anyone and c'mon some people have been waiting for the day their friend gets married so they can rock one of these shirts! Let them live their fantasy!

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Spring 2010

Designers are getting ready to bring out their Spring 2011 colors so that means any leftover dresses from Spring 2010 MUST go. Fortunately for you, your color choices for your wedding don't depend on what J. Crew decides are the colors for this spring. Therefore, if you see a dress on sale in a color you like now, jump on it because they probably aren't going to be making any more.

The dress above is almost 69% off and it is lovely for an outdoor Spring wedding!

Peplum is back in and I have seen it on a lot of different dresses/jackets. I love the peplum-like overlay on this dress, it gives it and overall vintage feel, and the top is nice and fitted for good contrast. The purpley raspberry color is great for a winter wedding as well.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: It's That Red Time Of Year.

Red is a tricky color, but fall and winter are definitely the best opportunities to don your bridal party in reddish hues. It is tough to find a red that will look good on everyone, but if you find a good shade like the "Cranberry Red" above, it will be flattering to many complexions.

Note: if red is one of your colors, don't go overboard with it. If you make red your "accent color" and keep your decorations in an understated white, black, and gray, you'll have a beautiful visual and avoid burning the rods and cones of your guests.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Badgley Bridesmaid.

This Badgley Mischka dress is 40% off so if you are looking at designer labels for your bridesmaids, I'd jump on this deal. Not everyone wants to choose such fancy dresses for the bridal party, but if that is your style, at least you shoudln't pay full price for it.

I love the cut of this dress, its just so clean and simple so that the bold turquoise color can really stand out.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Fawning Over You.

The color of this dress doesn't show up well on a computer screen but this neutral color J. Crew calls "fawn" will look great as a fall bridesmaid's dress.

J.Crew has a lot of their spring bridesmaid's dresses on sale, and this one is a particularly good deal. Add a black cardigan or sash with a bow and you have a sophisticated fall bridal look.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Save On Spring

Clearly, you aren't going to have your bridesmaids wear this color in the fall but brides are often planning 6 months to two years in advance so you can pick out your dresses in the off-season and make out like a bandit.

This dress is less than $60 and so cute and smart. If you like aqua, this is a dress for you. The sweetheart neckline is flattering and never underestimate the ability of a belt to change a dress from fun and girly to fun and sophisticated.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: Black & White Wedding.

Black and white weddings are not a new idea and I love the look of having all your bridesmaids in black dresses because everyone looks good in black and the pictures look fantastic.

One way to spice up a black dress is with embellishment and detail like these ruffles. You can get away with something like ruffles on a black dress because the color is already subdued and you aren't throwing too much on the dress at once. In the end you have a dress understated enough for a bridesmaid but not so bland that it gets lost in a room full of other LBDs.
