By Jax
This is by far the worst jumpsuit/romper I have EVER seen. The fact that it's $565.00 (yes you read that correctly) makes it downright offensive.
The weird bodice makes the entire outfit look super cheap, but continuing on, you have the cascading rose petals fit more for a bedspread than a pair of pants. And speaking of pants, these remind me of MC Hammer. Even so, I don't think this would have been "in" in 1993 either.
Also, if you click through to the site, it says that this is "Meghan's pick." Really, Meghan? This is your pick? This is what you think people should be buying to be fashionable? Girl, have your eyes checked.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: When Children Are Allowed To Make Clothes
Step right up, kids! Today we are going to make shirts! Yes, there is a pile of old scraps of fabric on the floor. Just pick the ones you like, and then glue them together using these black straps! It's so simple, why, a child could do it.
Maybe a child did do it? I can't in good conscience believe an adult designer at BCBG did this...I won't believe it...I can't believe it!

FASHION DEAL DIVA: What Were They Thinking
A lot of older trends are coming back right now, but disco dancing pants are not one of them. And the attempt to update these pants by combining them with the super hot florals trend just makes it that much worse.
What really puts the nail in the coffin for me is the ruffle at the bottom. Because the bell shape wasn't enough to widen you, you want that last ditch effort to increase the wideness? Horrible.

FASHION DEAL DIVA: What Were They Thinking
Oh no! One of the designers at Forever 21 got drunk, and glued a bunch of square pieces of fabric to a clutch, and then that employee's supervisor ALSO got drunk and approved this monstrosity!!!!! And then the mistakes of these two drunk employees landed this completely disgusting and horrible clutch in Forever 21 stores!!!
Actually, none of that happened, but I wish it had. It would have been a better scenario than someone in full conscience allowing this to be sold in Forever 21. This makes me especially sad because I am such a big supporter of Forever 21 bags in general, but it just shows that every now and then a really bad one slips through the cracks!!!!
Please don't buy this.

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: What Were They Thinking?

I'll admit to at one time liking McDonald's Hot Apple Pie, a processed, dessert-like product that will burn your mouth like hot lava if you don't let it cool properly, but a wedding at a McDonald's really isn't what I was thinking of when I chose "Frugal Fiancee" as the name for this feature.
I'm not lovin' it

FRUGAL FIANCÉE: What Were They Thinking?

These shoes are from David's Bridal, however, I cannot picture any wedding in which or to which anyone should wear these shoes. I just . . . can't. Also the name of the shoe is "Carnival" so that tells you all you need to know.
Please don't buy these.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: A Big Eclectic Mess

If only this shoe could have had a similar result.
What happened? Did a designer go into the Steve Madden fabrics and jewels room and just play fashion roulette? It's all too much. The jewels don't match each other, let alone the shoe. I am all for an electic mix, but there is a big difference between a mix and a mess.
Then...the straps...what the hell is that? The ugliness speaks for itself.
Shame on you, Steve Madden! Please don't buy this.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: Even Snooki Wouldn't Wear These
This is two sort of trends that were 1) overdone, and then 2) paired together, resulting in a shoe style train collision. I call the zebra and the zipper trend "sort of" trends because they are not mainstream, and they're not particularly big, but in certain ways and on certain items, they work. This item is not one of them.
Both of these trends are popular in the "Jersey Shore" subset of culture that has suddenly gotten hot, but even Snooki has enough sense to know these shoes are a no-go.
Shame on you, L.A.M.B. Please don't buy this.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: Drop This Cargo

First, the pockets...long pockets? Why? Because you want your hips to look bigger?
Second, are the jeans...cropped? Or short length? Who knows! But MAN they cut in an awkward place. They call this jean the "cargo." Is that BCBG speak for taking the worst aspect of every jean cut and putting it into one spectacularly horrible pair of pants?
Shame on you, BCBG! Please don't buy this.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: Trippy Zebra

Spirals on a shoe are not stylish or interesting or creative. I drew spirals on my notebooks in middle school. I'm over it.
Putting black spirals on a white shoe? Reminds me of a trippy zebra.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: Evil Candy Cane

It looks like an evil candy cane! Nothing delicious or wonderful about it.
I think red and black and white do work in certain settings (think a busy paisley or a pattern). In color block, you are barking up the wrong tree.
And to put this all in a flat???? What are you going to wear this with?? Messy Mess.
Shame on you, Adrienne Vittadini! Please Don't Buy This.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: Bad Romance

I like the black and yellow trend, I really do, WHEN IT'S DONE RIGHT! This is not right. It's wrong. VERY VERY WRONG.
Also, have you ever seen the show "Jerseylicious"? Everyone on that show would wear this dress in a heartbeat, and that's reason enough to stay as far away from it as possible.
Shame on you, Charlotte Russe! Please Don't Buy This.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: Tears Of A Clown

Why are those sleeves so big?? WHY!
It's not even close to a regular poofy sleeve. It's some sort of super poof horror. It reminds me of the old-time clown costumes that had giant arm poofs. At least in those costumes the poof made sense! Who is buying this shirt? Women who want their arms to look...bigger? Yeah, cause those women exist.
Now, if you click through, you will see pictures of the model wearing the shirt with the sleeves tucked under. While this is BETTER, it's still not great. And the fact that Spiegel is highlighting this baloon clown way to wear the shirt front and center (instead of this much better tucked int style) makes this "What Were They Thinking" even more necessary.
Shame on you, Spiegel! Please Don't Buy This.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING: One Bad Color Party

Can we all give a collective "ew"?
No one edited this piece. NO ONE! I have to imagine that there was not one person on his earth who would consciously allow this to be produced. It slipped through the cracks. Somehow it was produced and shipped to stores and everyone at Aldo is shocked and horrified that this bag is now for sale. Yes, that is the ONLY possibility!!!!!
Shame on you Aldo! Please don't buy this
