You can't wear flip flops to nice restaurants, or fancy bars, etc.
But you CAN buy "nice" shoes that look and feel just like flip flops, but are made of the materials that bring it into the "nice" shoe category.
Should you be spending over $50 on such shoes? Absolutely not! Spend somewhere under that and call it a day! I like this pair because it has the double strap, which goes one step further to take it out of the traditional "thong" flip flop style and towards a dressier shoe, without losing any of the comfort and the look of the beloved flip flop.
