I don't like lace-up, knee length boots that have a giant stiletto-esque heel. I'm not sure about why I have this aversion, but I think, generally, the lace-up style belongs on a flat.
This knee-high lace-up boot manages to capture the lace-up trend with an appropriate sized heel. No aversions here! I also like the buckle at the top...adds a slightly fancier detail to make the boots more dress appropriate.
