Ever since I bought an open front cardigan, I've been obsessed.  My office is freezing, and it's a great accessory that is not only cute, but keeps me warm!  I mean, really, how exciting can a cardigan be?  The open front is the MOST exciting of them all!

This color is perfect for spring, and well into summer.  If you're going to jump on any recent trend, this one is the best.  And remember, for a more tailored look, pair it with a skinny belt.

HALF OFF HOTTIE: Half off and Right Off The Runway!

This week, I attended the Zang Toi fashion show at Pittsburgh’s first ever Fashion Week. I volunteered for the event and got to help out at the model call, and later in the fashion show, where I got to hang out back stage with the designer and Fashion Week staff and volunteers.

Zang Toi is a New York based Malaysian designer. He’s extremely talented and his clothes were absolutely stunning. He was also incredibly warm and grounded, as were his people.

For this week’s “Half Off” post, I wanted to spotlight one of Zang Toi’s Spring 2011 looks that I totally loved, a flower-detail pink cardigan with a full pleated white skirt.

FASHION DEAL DIVA: Is Anywhere In The U.S. Cold Right Now?

Despite the warm monsoon season that has hit NY, and the heat wave that is pounding LA, I am determined to put up some sweaters on this blog for when it actually decides to get cold.
