On Christmas morning, one of my boxes of gifts was ten pairs of tights.  No joke!  Evey year my mother gives me a box of tights, knowing how much I love to wear them.  All of the tights below are made by Worthington for JC Penney.

I can't say enough good things about these tights!  Not only are the cheap, but they really last!  Their black opaque tights are my go-to black work tight.  With no exaggeration, I think I own 12 or 13 of those alone.

Ever since Natalie Portman wore that gorgeous purple dress to the Oscar's, I am on the biggest purple kick EVER.

Deep purple is one of those colors that adapts to the season so you can wear it year around (although admittedly, the skinny straps on this dress push it right into late spring/summer territory for me.)  The "lampshade" detailing is beautiful, in particular the v-shape in the back, and speaking of backs...if you have a nice one that you like to show off, check out that criss-cross!

The minimalist classics of Helmut Lang never grow old.  In college, I spend $75.00 on a white t-shirt that fit me better than any t-shirt I've ever tried on, and looked good years later after way too many washings (it met it's untimely demise when a red dress accidentally found its way into the wash, and I'm still sad about it.)

To find another superior classic from Helmut Lang on a super sale brought back all these wonderful memories of my favorite white t-shirt!  Maybe I can start new memories with my favorite black blazer???
