Now...I know not everyone is for the bubble bottom.  But men have a serious thing for bubble bottom skirts and dresses.  I have no idea why (I really, honestly don't), but I've heard from at least 15 guys that it really turns them on.

Although Diane von Furstenberg is known for her wrap dresses, I personally like her tunic dresses better!  They're constructed in a way to fit more than one body type, whereas not everyone looks good in a wrap dress.

This may be my favorite tunic dress I've seen yet!  I love the tribal pattern because it's not hit-you-over-the-head tribal, and the black and white color scheme makes it a new classic!

While still pretty expensive, this bag IS on sale, and it's rare to see such a classically designed Burberry bag for anything less than it's original sticker price, and for that reason alone it gets a feature on Designer Alert.

It is all leather, and while you might have issues with purple, it's an all seasons color, so you'll get the most mileage out of the bag.  It actually may be my favorite purple ever featured on a handbag...

When I like an animal print, an alarm should sound, a banner should go up, etc., because it's so rare that the event needs to be celebrated.  This heavily discounted gryphon dress does an animal print right!

If you're not a fan of the long sleeves + buttoned up look, then don't be afraid to tailor the sleeves to make them shorter, and open all those buttons!  A silk shirt dress is a good option for many types, so don't let one bad aspect that can be easily fixed stop you from buying it!

When I heard Target was planning a Go International Designer Collaboration 5 year celebration with a relaunch of 34 dresses, I was so excited! I've been a big fan of the collaborations for the past 5 years- I always go to Target and check out the new collections, trying things on for fit and fabric assessment before usually buying one choice piece from each collection. Naturally, after having formed my own opinions about which were the best dresses over the years, I was so interested to see which ones they would choose. I have to say I was disappointed! They did NOT choose the strongest dresses from most of the collections, with one standout exception: Tracy Feith! These dresses are such a great deal for $39.99. They are made of high quality soft and fine cotton, are fully lined, have nice zipper hardware and have a cute fit! In a sea of cheap polyester and flimsy elastic, these dresses are a sight for sore eyes. They are really great! Not just in the photos, but in person too! You officially have the Vintage Vixen stamp of approval (the cute vintage shapes don't hurt either). Go buy them!
