FASHION DEAL DIVA: Increase Your Assets

In my massive Forever 21 shopping Spree that occurred about 2 weeks ago, I bought this dress. This was definitely a case of it looking just "ok" on the rack, but fabulous on me. And it just goes to show you...trying random stuff on can sometimes work out really well!

The most magical quality of this dress is that it makes my boobs look HUGE. Like, gigantic. way bigger than they actually are. Thank you, magical chest increasing dress.

FASHION DEAL DIVA: Abstractly Speaking

You gotta love shopping at Target. I went there to buy some eye makeup for my Cleopatra costume, some Halloween candy, and....this shirt???

I was just standing on the checkout line when I saw this shirt. And it was magically just within my arm's reach!!! I hoped for the best with a small and threw it in my cart.

All I can say is..wow! This shirt looks and feels like it could be on a rack in J. Crew or Ann Taylor, but it's WAY CHEAPER!!! I love the abstract gray and black color splotches, and the center ruffle that is perfect for under a suit.

FASHION DEAL DIVA: Cutie Bootie

I can't say enough good things about these boots. I am OBSESSED with them! I've been wearing them everywhere. I create every outfit I can around them. They are ridiculously hot, and comfortable. So comfortable! I can walk everywhere, all night, and never feel a bit of pain. I've been wearing them mostly with black patterned tights, black mini skirts and a lighter colored top.

I am a true child of the 90's, and with that comes a lot of all things grunge, which encompasses my love of hoodies.

I saw these sandals of the subway and became OBSESSED. First, they don't look like jellies. Second, the toe holder is so amazingly glam that you can't help but notice it's awesomeness if you're anywhere near it. Third, the girl wearing them told me that they are so comfortable she feels "barefoot." As someone who loves walking around barefoot, that review means a LOT.

Beautiful In Beige

I saw this in J. Crew this weekend and REALLY wanted to try it on, but they didn't have my size...hopefully they have yours in store or on line!

It's a great look for work in the summer. The material is lightweight, but its definitely still dressy enough for work. I love the jewels on the front because it adds that extra dressiness that I love in officewear (if you can get away with it!)

Trendy And Classic At The Same Time

In dire need of some sort of blazer or jacket on Friday night, I headed to Mandee (who's slogan is "Mandee to the rescue," so it was a logical choice!) It was there that I found this blazer, my new favorite piece of clothing.

It fits PERFECTLY. If I want to be trendy, I roll up the sleeves. For a more traditional blazer look, I roll them down! Just heavy enough to keep me warm in this variable spring weather. Makes me look and feel like a million bucks. Yay new spring jacket!

Poof-Tastic!

You don't have to invest in crinolin to get some poof in your dresses! You can buy them with the poof built in, like this one!

There is an elastic band at the edge of the fabric that sits right below your butt, creating the poof effect! I bought this dress and I feel so beautiful and girlie in it. It's 50's cuteness with a modern pattern. It's definitely made for short-waisted gals.

I couldn't get the picture for the darker color, but that's the one I bought.

Fashion Line Walker

A lot of you have asked me to indicate when I have either purchased an item I put on the blog, or have at the very least seen it in person, felt it, etc. I have now created a label called "Seen It Felt It Love It." When you see this label attached to a post, it means I've seen it in person, I felt it, and I loved it!

Moving on...I did some serious damage at Urban Outfitters on Friday night. I needed new spring clothes, and boy oh boy did they have them! A lot of what you see this week will be stuff I bought at Urban, and it's all amazing!

On Saturday night, I had to chose a dress that would work both for a fancy engagement party and my boyfriend's last show of tour. This was HARD. Some dresses were perfect for the engagement party, but way too dressy for Music Hall of Williamsburg. Some dresses were awesomely sexy and perfect for night time, but would have appalled the groom's mother if I had worn them to a 5 p.m. soirée.

This dress did the trick. I wore tear drop pearl earrings and a pearl necklace, and then AMAZING Betsey Johnson shoes that are black and red with roses on them, and a red feather hair piece that I have posted on this blog before! Mission accomplished!
