A lot of times boots are misadvertised as "mid-calf" when really they could be full calf or even bootie, depending on how long your calf actually is. But this boot actually is mid-calf because of the early end to the zipper up. It will give that mid-calf illusion no matter what!
I also love ruched leather booties. They give a slimming effect to your entire silhouette.
